Hang on to your long blacks and flat whites, because we're about to make your coffee sesh a whole lot more colourful. Welcome to Brightside, the coffee roastery that has more fun than a squirrel at a nut factory.
To all the coffee lovers out their worshipping your daily rituals - we see you, we understand you, we are you. Brightside is more than just a brew - it's an invitation to stop, smile and remember that every cloud has a Brightside.
We believe that every sip should be a pleasant surprise, like finding a tenner in your old jeans. Not to oversell it, but we've basically crammed a sunrise and a tickle fight into each coffee bean. You're welcome.

Our Boutique Roastery is a hive of activity where we get the privilege of roasting coffee both from single origin and blends of the finest quality. It is a place that allows the fusion of both passion and science to create a bean that once, brewed correctly, will leave you wanting another - and that's our mission, delivered freshly to your door!
Brightside Coffee Roasters prides itself in ensuring each bag is in biodegradable and recyclable packaging, because we are striving to do what we love but making as little impact on our environment as possible.
Our Roastery is dedicated to quality, ensuring that each batch of coffee roasted goes out fresh, consistent and supreme for all coffee lovers.
Brightside coffee evolved into a leading boutique roaster; where the passion for sustainability, highest quality, consistency and excellent service are leading the path on this journey!
Brightside Coffee Roasters began back in 2012 with a brave start up of Café four14, in a then remote part of Pyes Pa, Tauranga. The Petroncini roaster (fondly named Scarlett) found her home where her sweet aroma of roasting could be sensed from the road. The coffee became as popular as the café and the roastery expanded.
With increased demand the roastery waved good bye to Café four14 and Scarlett moved out to the picturesque Pahoia Peninsula. Quality coffee was produced here for 5 years until this site was outgrown by demand. (This goes to show how good Brightside Coffee really is!)
The Brightside Coffee Roastery relocated to Auckland and is run by a local husband and wife team. We are a family orientated business with a commitment to sustainability, the environment and, of course, an obsession with coffee. And so the journey continues...
