Coffee origins

Coffee Varieties and Quality Control

What's in your brew?

Our Coffee Beans are sustainably and ethically sourced from countries all around the world. We source them as raw green beans and through our roasting processes on our Petrocini roaster, our Head Roaster creates blends and single origins roasts that compliment each bean variety.

The beans are grown in different altitudes  with a wide range of air temperatures- which alongside roasting temperatures of up to 230 degrees and roasting time duration creates the different flavours amongst each coffee blend.

From the coffee fields to individually hand bagging out each bag of coffee for a customer - we can only ensure the highest of quality and consistency.

Where is coffee grown

While coffee trees thrive in all the coffee regions of the world, each region produces coffee with a unique flavor, fragrance, and appearance. These variations are the result of a complex combination of factors, including the coffee plant variety, the local terroir (chemistry of the soil, microclimates, and sunlight), and even the precise altitude of the farm or plantation. Even elements as specific as fog can influence the final flavor profile and characteristics of each bean.

Brightside Coffee Roasters use only carefully selected Arabica beans of the best grades. Some of the Key origins include Brazil, Colombia, Honduras, Kenya, Papaua New Guinea and Ethiopia.
